The Elm Roast began with a simple idea: serve exceptional coffee and honest food in a space that feels like home. Tucked beneath the shade of an old elm tree, our café opened its doors as a passion project between friends who believed the best moments in life are brewed over good conversation. From our early days of hand-painting the shop sign to perfecting our first batch of granola, we’ve grown with our community every step of the way. Today, The Elm Roast is a place to slow down, sip something warm, and share in the little joys.

Head Barista
Naomi’s been pulling espresso shots since she was 17 and swears by a perfectly balanced flat white. Known for her latte art and playlists, she keeps the coffee flowing and the vibe mellow.

Lucas Byrne
Kitchen Lead
Lucas crafts every menu item with care — from toasted sourdough to seasonal soups. He’s a big believer in comfort food done right, and you can often catch him testing new recipes before opening hours.

Freya Chen
Pastry Queen
Freya wakes up before sunrise to get the croissants golden and the cinnamon rolls just right. Trained in Paris but local at heart, she brings creativity (and plenty of butter) to the counter daily.

Elijah Thompson
Community & Events Manager
Elijah makes sure The Elm Roast isn’t just a café — it’s a gathering place. He runs the weekend book swaps, trivia nights, and pop-up art shows, always with a big grin and a clipboard in hand.

Aria Mendes
Front of House
Friendly, efficient, and never seen without her signature apron pin, Aria is the first smile you see when you walk in. She keeps the place running smoothly and customers coming back.
